This course introduces and articulates the intimate relationship between the two sister sciences of Ayurvedic medicine and Vedic astrology. Once learned and practiced together, medicine and astrology are now seen as separate fields. This course is the first expression of my impulse to “re-marry” these ancient sciences and demonstrate the universal ground upon which they are founded.
Who Should Take This Course?
If you are interested in learning the principles of Medical Astrology, then this course is for you. This course is ideal for students or practitioners who want to learn the basic principles and techniques of Medical Astrology. If you are an Ayurvedic practitioner, you can greatly expand your scope by learning how those concepts translate astrologically. Likewise, if you are a Vedic astrologer, you can broaden your horizons by learning how to see and use astrology for healing. Even if you are only a student of these two sciences, you will find knowledge here that is beneficial to your own life and understanding.
This course is not an introduction to either Ayurveda or Astrology, but rather an illustration of the relationship between the two sciences. Therefore, a working-knowledge of the basic principles of either Ayurveda or Astrology will make this course much easier to follow and thus more fruitful for you.
Style and Format
This audio course was originally taught from January 25, 2019 - February 16, 2019. While I did not intentionally choose these dates for any astrological reasons, I noticed later on that I had actually started running a new card (Ace of Spades) in my Year Spread on the first day of this course. I had outlined the Modules and content of the course, but had also left enough space for the course to evolve organically. My original syllabus had to be modified by the second Module! My improvisation approach to this course allowed for something deep and creative to emerge, and I am very happy with the results.
The course was offered in the form of live webinars and I have decided to keep the questions from the live participants in these audio recordings, because the questions were excellent and will be useful to everyone who takes this course in the future.
The total length of all recordings is 16hrs. When you purchase the course, you will receive a document with a link to download a .zip file that is 1.3gb in size, so you will need a program to unzip the files. All the audio files are in .mp3 format and the texts are .pdf so make sure you can open these file types before ordering the course. Please note that due to the digital nature of this course, it is non-refundable.
How To Take This Course
The course itself consists of 8 Modules which are 2hrs each in length. I have also provided a textual supplement to the audio lectures. I recommend listening to the module lecture first and then opening the textual supplement. I would recommend doing this even if you feel you are a visual learner. Listening is a different kind of process than reading and allows for a deeper reception of the information, even if you do not seem to fully understand it in the moment.
The textual supplement is intended to provide an overview of the core concepts of each Module. In some textual supplements, I have made charts to illustrate complex correlations and concepts. I have also provided a “Further Reading” section in most of the texts, so that those who are interested in further study have some resources to explore.
For anyone interested in deepening their knowledge of the principles of Ayurveda or Vedic Astrology there are plenty of books available and online videos that one watch. Self-inquiry and study is certainly a rewarding path. That said, at some point, insight and guidance from someone who is trained in and walks the path is a real catalyst for taking one's understanding to a deeper level. In this regard Neeshee Pandit delivers. Neeshee owns his material and by studying with him what one gets is an alive, inspired and genuine perspective. I highly recommend his Introduction to Ayurveda and Astrology course and any new opportunities to study with him.

I just wanted to say that I really really appreciated this course. There is a way that you are bringing a deeper perspective, and you sparked some kind of intuitive connectivity that I so deeply appreciate. It makes it very alive. It is a true gift you have and you are a wonderful teacher. Thank you—it was really wonderful!
I am glad I took your Ayurveda course. The way you presented the material was very unique (original) and systematic. You were genuinely interested in imparting the knowledge and I really appreciated the patience with which you addressed each of our questions. I loved the companion texts and essays you provided with the course as well. The chart reading session was the best. I am looking forward to your future courses on Ayurveda and Astrology.
Hey Neeshee, I wanted to thank you for the course. I’m happy I took it. I see how you cross-reference different sources of knowledge and can easily explain the connection between them in an easy-to-understand format. Nowadays, with so much misinformation, the challenge is to break the barriers of ideas in a way that is not offensive. I understand how you seek the higher truth that applies on all dimensions depending on the conditions and region. You are the” AOC” of the political arena, bringing new light and energy into world of natural medicine. Keep up the great work my dear friend!!
Many thanks to you Neeshee for your knowledge and insights. This profound knowledge was exactly what I needed to be able to progress.
